Métaphore Family Membership is for those select few who genuinely appreciate the ART of beer brewing—who crave authenticity and deeper nuances above all else. If you believe that beer should be an experience, no matter how grand or modest, rather than mere commodity for consumption, and you prefer quality over quantity, then keep reading.

If you’re after flashy hype, the flavor-of-the-month, exotic barrels, over-the-top fruit overloads, or trophy-chasing, this probably isn’t for you. In a world of endless beer brands fighting for your attention, you can find that anywhere. But if you’re tired of the same beer with just a different label time and again, of shallow gimmicks and “too vanilla” beer and brewers and you’d rather buy from a genuine artisan than a marketing department, then you’re in for a treat.

Métaphore is raw, unfiltered, and a deeply personal, opinionated, spiritual evolution unfolding in every bottle. No sugarcoating. No shortcuts. No BS.

Think locally sourced organic ingredients ONLY, naturally guided spontaneous fermentations, and zero compromise on quality. If I’m not obsessed with beer, I won’t release it. Plain and simple.

Métaphore is about viewing the world through the lens of beer—a world I see as both beautiful and magical, alive with endless possibilities. I let nature guide me, allowing each beer to find its story in its own time. Sometimes grand and complex, sometimes youthful and playful, but never just a commodity. Each Métaphore beer transports you to local orchards, forests, vineyards, grain fields, or hop yards—sharing its unique journey from grain to glass, just as nature intended.

Most Métaphore creations begin in the coolship with natural inoculation, then embark on a slow, spontaneous fermentation and maturation in wooden barrels. Local organic ingredients anchor the process—but that’s merely the starting point. My vision? To bottle the most feel-good beers you’ll want to savor with your loved ones—or alone on a quiet evening if that’s your style.

These are beers that can’t be reduced to a rating number or be ever fully described by mere words, they taste wonderful for reasons you can’t quite explain. And that is ok. That, my friend, is MAGIC.

When do I receive it?


If you’re into these styles of beers, you know that crafting them is both patient and unpredictable work. Despite my best efforts to forecast, each batch follows its own timeline and becomes ready precisely when it decides. One principle never wavers: I won’t release a beer that isn’t fully ready or fails to meet my standards. I anticipate the beers will be good to go around the summer holidays—but they’ll be ready when they’re ready. That’s a feature, not a bug!


Logistics

  • Direct shipping is available to most locations, including the EU, the US, and many Asian countries.
  • If you’re unsure about shipping to your area, please contact me before aping in.
  • Local pickup in Prague is possible, but only with prior agreement.
  • Shipping via proxy is allowed. For instance, consider our friends at Étre Gourmet.
  • Shipping costs for any released beers will be calculated at checkout, including for the member’s exclusive “Family Pack,” at the time of shipping.

 

Terms & Conditions

  1. One Membership, One Person
    Only one membership per individual.
  2. Age Requirement
    You must be 18 (or the legal drinking age in your area) to purchase a membership.
  3. All Sales Final
    The Métaphore Family Membership is non-refundable once purchased.
  4. Simple Renewals
    Transparency is key. Your annual membership is automatically renewed each year for convenience, but you can cancel anytime by logging into your account—no questions asked, no strings attached.
  5. Right to Cancel
    We reserve the right to cancel your membership at any time, for any reason. It’s rare, but if it happens, we’ll refund any unused portion.
  6. Holding Your Beers
    When you buy a specific beer, we’ll hold it for a maximum of 90 days. Your membership beers must be shipped within that timeframe. If you don’t pick them up or arrange shipping (and haven’t made other plans with us), they go back to the brewery—no refund. Communication is key; we’re happy to find a solution if you reach out in time.
  7. “Family Pack” Release
    Expect your prepaid “Family 6-Pack” sometime in the summer—but these beers are ready when nature says so. Once they’re good to go, we’ll send you a heads-up. Keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder!) from time to time.
  8. Other releases Other releases throughout the year aren’t part of the prepaid membership, but I encourage you to explore them if you want to experience the full spectrum of Métaphore.
  9. For Personal Enjoyment Only
    This membership is about a shared passion for these beers—not flipping them for profit. We want to keep the community genuine and discourage trading motivated by anything other than true love for the style. If needed, I’ll take steps to keep things real.
  10. Excess Beer
    If I end up producing more beer than members need, I might offer the surplus at festivals, to special partners, or to members again. Gotta let the good stuff be enjoyed, right?
  11. Membership Validity
    Your membership runs from January 1 to December 31 each year and auto-renews annually for your convenience. You can cancel anytime by logging into your account.
