Métaphore Family is a curated experience membership group built around sharing the authentic journey with Métaphore beers and its unfiltered, first hand experience. Above all, the mission and obsession is to deliver the uncompromising beers, true to Métaphore's vision.

With your participation in our group, I aim to take you on a journey through the seasons—inviting you on strolls around local fields, orchards, forests, vineyards, or hop yards. Through each bottle, I want to retell you a story that has been unfolding over quite some time, often spanning several years.

Métaphore Family isn't necessarily about showcasing luxury ingredients, rare wooden barrels, or the use of irresistible fruits from distant lands, nor does it focus on offering the oldest beers in stock. My ambition is to guide you each year on an exploratory journey of the wonders of local flavors and textures delicately influenced and layered over time by grains, fruits, fermentation, or foraged ingredients—fully embracing what each season has to offer. As a result, many of these beers become one-of-a-kind creations that can hardly ever be replicated exactly the same.

Simply put, it is all about crafting the most feel-good, delicious beers that delight your senses and elevate your moments!

Each year, I carefully select six (6) most interesting spontaneously fermented batches or blends. They are destined solely for the "Family pack," available exclusively to Métaphore Family members for the current year. Vast majority of Métaphore beers in the making are currently reserved exclusively for members of the Métaphore Family.

What is included:

• "Family Pack": A curated selection of 6 beers in 750ml format, exclusively available to Métaphore Family members. (Shipping not included; expected release in June 2024.)
• Early Access: Get the first opportunity to purchase other Métaphore beers released throughout the year. With approximately 15 different beers released annually, you'll have a variety to choose from.

As someone who appreciates these styles of beers, you understand that crafting them is a patient and unpredictable process. Despite my efforts to forecast their development, these beers often follow their own timeline, becoming ready precisely when they decide. One principle remains unwavering — never release a beer that isn't fully ready or fails to meet my standards. I anticipate the beers to be ready around June.

Logistics:

• Direct shipping worldwide is available. If you want to ship to some exotic location, better to check beforehand.
  
• Local pickup in Prague is possible, but only with prior agreement.
• Proxy use is allowed. For beer shipments via proxy, consider checking our friends at Étre Gourmet.
• shipping for any released beers will be calculated at the checkout, including the member's exclusive "Family pack".

Terms and Conditions:

• One membership is allowed per person. In the event of multiple memberships for a single individual, Métaphore retains the right to cancel all memberships without refund.
• Purchasers must be 18 years of age or older to buy a membership.
• All sales of Métaphore Family 2024 Membership are considered final and non-refundable.
• Métaphore reserves the right to cancel an individual’s membership and refund any unused portion at any time and for any reason.
• Reserved beers will be held for you for 90 days after purchase. If any beer is not shipped or picked up within this period, it will be returned to the brewery and no refund will be issued, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• "Family pack" should be released sometimes in summer, you shall be notified when the beers are ready. Only time will tell.
• For personal use only; not for resale. Métaphore Family was intentionally crafted as a close-knit community of early adopters and beer enthusiasts who share a genuine interest in these brews—enjoying them and sharing the experience. The community thrives on camaraderie rather than opportunistic trading. While trading itself may not be inherently negative, when driven by motives other than a passion for these beer styles, it can taint the spirit we aim to foster. We'd rather discourage such behavior and maintain the authentic beer culture we aim to cultivate. Hence, we reserve the right to take necessary measures to deter this if needed.
• In the event that the volume produced of a specific membership beer exceeds the needs of our members, we reserve the right to make any excess available for purchase. This surplus beer could be offered to Métaphore Family members, at festivals, or during special events with our partners.
• All beers will be held for you for maximum of 90 days post-purchase. Any beer not shipped or picked up within this period will be returned to the brewery without a refund, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• The Métaphore Family 2024 Membership is valid from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
• We value transparency and simplicity: your membership is conveniently renewed each year on a recurring basis. You have the flexibility to cancel at any time by simply logging into your account.
